로리 클러프 셰이드(Lori Cluff Schade, PhD)는 공인받은 결혼과 가족치료사(LMFT: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)이며, 미국 결혼과 가족치료학회 공인 임상 슈퍼바이저(AAMFT-approved supervisor), 그리고 EFT 공인 슈퍼바이저 및 임상 치료사로 유타주에 있는 플레전트 그로브(Pleasant Grove)에서 활동하고 있다. 그녀는 Compassionate Connections Counseling을 운영하고 있으며 브리검 영 대학교(Brigham Young University)에서 결혼 및 가족 치료 학과의 겸임교수로 일하고 있다. 30년 넘게 7명의 자녀를 키우는 것과 함께 치료사로 일해 왔고, 이 분야에서 여러 동료 심사(peer-reviewed) 논문 및 책 챕터를 저술했다. 여가 시간에는 달리기, 사이클링, 뜨개질, 오르간이나 피아노 연주를 즐긴다. 그녀가 가장 좋아하는 활동은 무엇이든 새로운 것을 해보는 것이다. 그녀는 자신이 좋아하는 일을 할 수 있는 직업을 가진 것에 감사하고 있다.
