공공조직론

고려대학교와 미국 University of Southern California(USC)에서 행정학석사학위를, 미국 American University에서 행정학박사학위를 취득한 후, 인천대학교를 거쳐 현재 명지대학교 사회과학대학 행정학과 교수로 재직하고 있다. 미국 Transnational Crime and Corruption Center(TraCCC) research scholar, 일본 쓰꾸바(筑波)대학교 교환연구원, 한국행정연구원 부연구위원, 인사행정학회 연구위원장과 총무위원장 등을 역임하였으며, 5급, 7급, 9급 국가공무원 공채 면접위원과 출제위원으로 활동하였다.

저서로는 ?공무원의 역할연구?(공저, 2009), ?조직행태론: 사람, 관리 그리고 행정?(공저, 2016) 등이 있으며, 최근 발표한 논문으로는 “The role of assessment centers in job satisfaction and organizational commitment”(2016), “Female participation and corruption in the public sector”(2016), “Bureaucratic accountability and disaster response: Why did the Korea Coast Guard fail in its rescue mission during the Sewol Ferry Accident?”(2017) 등이 있다.
