ABSOLUTELY WRITE

이 책은 성균관대학교 자연과학캠퍼스 신입생을 주요 대상으로 한 영어쓰기 기초 교재의 개정판이다. 기본적으로 강의용으로 구성했지만, 독학을 하는 학습자에게도 충분히 체계적 학습이 가능하도록 구성했다. 특히, 자연과학과 공학을 전공하는 학생들에게 학술적으로 영어 글쓰기의 기초를 제시한다. 미리 쓰기(pre-writing)로 시작하여 문장과 단락 쓰기를 거쳐서 보고서 쓰기까지 발전하는 글쓰기를 모두 담았다. 정의, 과정, 원인과 결과를 포함하여 여러 가지 글쓰기 스타일을 모두 담았다. 기술과 문법에 대한 파트도 있으며, 마지막 부분에서는 연구 및 인용 및 참조하는 방법까지 중점을 두어 설명했다. 이 책은 모든 수준의 여러 학생들을 위한 포괄적인 과업 기반 과정(task-based course)의 기본 글쓰기를 위한 것이다. 학습자의 작문 접근 방식에 유연하게 대처할 수 있도록 구성했다.
