이번에 새로 출간된 『Baduk, Made Fun and Easy vol.3』은 초보 바둑 애호가들을 위한 기초 시리즈의 마지막 완결편이라 할 수 있다. 앞서 출간된 『Baduk, Made Fun and Easy vol.1』(2006)은 바둑 용어 설명과 경기 진행 방식 등 아주 기초적인 단계부터 시작하여 행마에 이르기까지 단계별로 쉽게 따라올 수 있도록 정리하여 처음 바둑을 접하는 초보자들이 쉽게 기초를 파악할 수 있도록 했다. 그 뒤를 잇는 2권(2007)을 통해서는 1권과 이어서 선수, 정석, 패, 사활, 단수 등 보다 깊이 있는 기술적 가르침부터 ‘대마불사’에 이르는 개념적 이해까지 보다 심화된 바둑의 기초를 다질 수 있다. 저자는 초보 애호가들을 대상으로 한 기초편을 마무리하는 신간 『Baduk, Made Fun and Easy vol.3』에서 단수, 자주 이용되는 포석, 사활과 궁도 그리고 심화된 행마 등의 내용을 차근차근 풀어내고 있다.
